# I know this is easy but....

I want to apply a conditional background colour to the following expression in sense:

((Sum({<month_id={\$(=Max(month_id))},dm_complaints_number={'B23'}>}dm_value)-Sum({<month_id={\$(=Max(month_id))},dm_complaints_number={'B23'}>}dm_previous_month_value))

/

Sum({<month_id={\$(=Max(month_id))},dm_complaints_number={'B23'}>}dm_value))

it calculates the percentage change between 2 columns if its less than .25 then green, more than red.

I know this is an easy if statement, but can't get it right!!

Cheers folks

Andy

Hi Andy,

IF((Sum({<month_id={\$(=Max(month_id))},dm_complaints_number={'B23'}>}dm_value)-Sum({<month_id={\$(=Max(month_id))},dm_complaints_number={'B23'}>}dm_previous_month_value))

/

Sum({<month_id={\$(=Max(month_id))},dm_complaints_number={'B23'}>}dm_value)<0.25, green(), red())

Thanks,

Vitalii

Are you already calculating the pct change as a column in the chart?
